One of the main objectives of NITUB is to organize training programmes / Workshop on modern scientific and analytical instrumentation. Since its inception in July 1994, NITUB has been conducting a wide range of specialized training programmes for scientists, engineers, researchers, academicians, laboratory personnel, and industrial professionals.Over the years, NITUB has successfully organized training programmes on advanced analytical instruments such as:
For user scientists and technical personnel to update their knowledge and improve their skill on the use of the equipment. Training programmes are generally limited to 15-20 participants and are run for 5-6 days. Four-six such programmes/workshops are run pre year. Eich programme includes both theoretical and practical sessions. Circular of training programme is posted in NITUB’s website (www.nitub.org) as well as hard copies are sent to research organizations and universities by post.
So far, NITUB has conducted 89 th such training programmes through which 1361 scientists, young faculty members, graduate students and technical personnel have been trained. (Details of all training programmes listted in a [Table ,PDF). and also shared in the Bar diagram bellow.
The figure below shows a bar chart of the training programmes conducted by NITUB up to 14 June 2026. The number displayed at the top of each bar represents the total number of trainees, while the number shown below each programme indicates the total number of training programmes conducted.
NITUB is continuously getting requests from young scientists and technical personnel to conduct training programmes more frequently to train more scientists and technical personnel so that they can take care of their laboratories. NITUB will continue to conduct such training programmes.
